About the Event

Join UWCN for a two hour guided hike in one of Toronto's environmentally significant areas as we learn about the importance of urban biodiversity at Tommy Thompson Park. During this hike, participants will be educated on ways to connect with nature by a knowledgeable guide. You’ll learn about  citizen science opportunities, wildlife identification and tracking, and leading nature experiences of your own ! This event is open to avid hikers/enthusiasts of all ages.

Are you interested in guiding or excited by the thought of narrating a nature documentary? Stay for a short time after the walk to learn additional tips for how you can guide a nature experience for family and friends – we’ll even give you a chance to practice!

COVID measures will be put into place to ensure safety. Limited spots available.

Registration will open November 19th, mark your calendars to reserve a spot!

The best part about it, it's free!

In partnership with WWF and Chantiers Jeunesse.
